Phil Stella, of Effective Training & Communication will speak on "Determining the Ideal Job for You" at the Feb. 6 meeting of Hudson Job Search.
Participants will begin the process of identifying their workplace skills and passions and the objective and subjective description of the ideal next employer. They'll also learn where and how to find those employers. Additionally, Stella will review "How to Prepare your 30-second Commercial."
Stella is a veteran of more than 25 years in the communications and training fields, working with clients as a trainer, consultant or executive coach.
A professional speaker, he has delivered hundreds of workshops on networking and communication skills for client and association events around the country.
He is also an active COSE volunteer and on the Cleveland Faculty of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Initiative, having worked with more than 450 entrepreneurs since the program launched in 2012.
Hudson Job Search meets on the first and third Monday evenings of each month at Christ Church Episcopal, 21 Aurora St. (park behind the church) with sign-in at 7:15 p.m. and an opportunity to network. The meeting from 7:30 to 9 p.m. is free and open to the public.
