Need help? Errand Chick is ready to ease your burden

Achiever.

That's a perfect description for Jinger Moore, P. C., owner and operator of Errand Chick LLC.

"I love helping people," Moore said. "And I love hands-on work."

Moore, who has a master's degree in counseling from the University of Akron, has stepped away from her position as a professional counselor to help people in other ways as Errand Chick.

"I always wanted to start my own business," she said. "I love doing tasks and I'm very organized. I love making 'to do' lists and accomplishing them."

The Errand Chick will tackle a wide variety of tasks, including home organization, pet/house sitting, grocery shopping, light yard work, small business help -- such as distributing marketing materials -- and senior companion care.

"I try to accommodate every request, as long as it's legal. At this time however, I do not provide child care or personal transportation," Moore said.

She will, however, provide emergency transportation for seniors.

Moore is running her business from her home, located on the Stow / Hudson border. She said the personal concierge business is a growing one, but not in this area.

"Right now it's just me," Moore said.

Moore is running an introductory special: buy two hours of service for the price of one for $35, the standard fee for most general errands. However, because her services are unique and customized, the prices for services may vary. Seniors receive a 30 percent discount off regular rates.

Errand Chick LLC operates 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday. She is on call during the weekends and after hours.
