April chamber lunch features Brimfield's Chief Oliver

Published:

Join us at the Clarion Inn & Conference Center on April 29 at 11:30 a.m. as the guest speaker will be Chief David Oliver of the Brimfield Township Police Department.

Chief Oliver has made a name for himself as an internet sensation since starting the department's Facebook page more than three years ago. His posts mixing humor, blunt opinion, community engagement and rants against "mopes" - criminals and other ne'er do-wells - draw an audience much larger than the approximately 10,000 residents the department serves. In fact, the department's Facebook following is second only to New York City's.

This month's lunch is sponsored by Heritage of Hudson and COSE. Reservations are required and can be made online at www.explorehudson.com or by calling the Chamber at 330-650-0621. Cost is $17 for members and $22 for non-members.
