Hudson Chamber of Commerce endorses COSE compensation services

Area businesses now have access to COSE Workers' Compensation Program

Published:

The Hudson Chamber of Commerce recently announced its endorsement of the Council of Smaller Enterprises' (COSE) Compensation Services.

Through this endorsement, Hudson Chamber of Commerce members have access to the COSE Workers' Compensation program, the most comprehensive workers' compensation program in Ohio designed to meet the specific needs of small to mid-sized businesses. More specifically, area businesses are able to enroll in COSE's Group Rating program, which has helped businesses save 53 percent - the state of Ohio's maximum discount - on their workers' compensation premiums. COSE works to get companies qualified for group rating and helps them maintain that eligibility year after year.

Beyond savings, COSE Compensation Services offers superior customer service and customized turnkey solutions to match a business' workers' compensation needs. COSE's in-house staff guides member businesses through every aspect of their workers' compensation programs from claims management and legal representation to safety consultation and education.

"We are thrilled to be working with the Hudson Chamber of Commerce in supporting their local small business members," said Steve Millard, president and executive director of COSE. "Managing workers' compensation costs and preventing costly claims are important priorities for small businesses. We will be working with the chamber to assist Hudson's small businesses with all of their workers' compensation needs while also consulting and educating them on how to incorporate safety programs to prevent workplace injuries."

"The Hudson Chamber and COSE are always looking for ways to support small businesses, and the COSE Workers' Compensation program offers a great cost-savings opportunity coupled with the advocacy and guidance provided by COSE's experienced staff," said Carolyn Konefal, president of the Hudson Chamber of Commerce. "I'm confident that this endorsement will open up new opportunities for our members to receive customized workers' comp solutions for their businesses."

If a business owner is interested in switching from their current workers' compensation administrator to COSE's program, COSE Compensation Services has staff available to help them through the transition process.
