Hudson Job Search to talk about how to sell yourself

Published: March 2, 2014 12:00 AM

Hudson Job Search will meet March 3 with Michael Jones presenting "Making the Sale of Your LifeYourself (Selling Yourself in Your Job Search Process)." People may not be in a sales position, but when looking for a job, they must promote and sell themselves. During interviews people need to sell themselves as the best candidate for the job. Jones will discuss how to construct a behavior plan that will not fail, how to avoid the "human nature trap" and see how successful behavior drives a positive mental attitude.

Jones is a partner at Sandler Training at The Ruby Group; a sales training, management training, coaching and business development firm. Jones has 19 year of experience in the sales and management arena, including effective team communications, leadership development and accountability programs among others. Jones' favorite part of working as an advisor to organizations and individuals is in helping them to discover their true potential and value by eliminating their "head trash" and self-imposed limitations.

Hudson Job Search meets the first and third Monday evenings of each month at Christ Episcopal Church, 21 Aurora St., Hudson with sign-in at 7:15 p.m. The meeting is 7:30 to 9 p.m. and is free and open to the public. For more information, go to www.hudsonjobsearch.org or call 330-653-5322.
