RE/MAX bedding collection will benefit Cleveland children

Published:

Twas the night before Christmas… and too many Greater Cleveland children aren't nestled snugly in bed because they don't have beds. The Cleveland Furniture Bank provides twin beds for children in need, and Hudson's RE/MAX Trinity real estate is supporting that effort with a holiday bedding collection.

During a similar successful collection before the start of the school year, RE/MAX Trinity collected and donated almost 100 complete sets of bedding to the furniture bank. With the holidays rapidly approaching, broker/owner Judy Darwal wanted to do even more.

"We deal with homes all the time, and nothing says 'home' like a warm, cozy bed. All children deserve that," she said.

Area residents can help by donating new, twin size sheets, blankets or comforters and standard pillows. Monetary donations also are accepted (checks payable to the Cleveland Furniture Bank). Just drop off your donation at the RE/MAX Trinity office in the Acme Plaza, 118 W. Streetsboro Rd. or at other Northeast Ohio RE/MAX locations before Dec. 20. For information, call 330-653-5152.
