New York, NY —Tiffany & Co. celebrated the opening of an approximately 2,700-square-foot store in Cleveland’s Eton Chagrin Boulevard, a spacious retail center and primary destination for luxury shopping on Aug. 28.
“We welcome Cleveland’s residents and visitors to explore Tiffany’s collections of legendary style in an environment of luxury and service that is unique among the world’s premier jewelers,” said Cathy Elward, Tiffany & Co. vice president.
Following the ribbon-cutting ceremony, visitors entered the new store that sparkled with Tiffany’s renowned diamonds in jewels of glamour and true love. Among them is the Tiffany Setting, the world’s most famous engagement ring. No single jewelry design has enjoyed such a profound influence or universal popularity. The setting is arrayed with other magnificent engagement rings that embody the most disciplined traditions of the jeweler’s art. Each ring is the quintessence of elegance, and each gracefully highlights the diamond’s exquisite cut, color and clarity.
Tiffany architects and interior designers utilized archival motifs and design details of the New York flagship store to create a welcoming environment. The stainless steel entry doors are finished with the Art Deco-inspired fluting detail that embellishes the entrance of the Fifth Avenue store.
Furnishings are designed in a palette of blues that complement the signature Tiffany Blue. Featured are pearlescent wall coverings and carpeting customized with magnolias and dragonflies from the acclaimed stained glass works of Art Nouveau designer Louis Comfort Tiffany, son of the company’s founder. In addition, the store features a chandelier inspired by Mr. Tiffany’s iridescent Favrile glass.
The Eton Chagrin Boulevard store is Tiffany’s third store in Ohio.
