Curves becomes complete diet facility

Hudson -- Curves, a fitness and exercise facility at 180 W. Streetsboro St., is now offering a new program, Curves Complete, with certified coaching and one-on-one counseling on exercise, diet and behavior modification.

"I believe we are the only complete diet facility in Hudson," said Hudson Curves owner Lori Ferguson.

Ferguson now offers Curves Complete and earning certification from Cleveland Clinic and Curves International in nutrition, behavior modification and exercise.

"We weigh every week and set weekly goals for each participant," she said. "The following week we review the previous week's goals, discuss successes and challenges. There is a great personal level of accountability, motivation, coaching and encouragement.

"This is an ideal environment for women," Ferguson said. "Our program is very personalized with one-on-one counseling to determine what your issues are and what your challenges are."

Ferguson is the first of three Curves employees who will receive the intensive training.

Curves is offering a three-month program, for those who need to lose less than 20 pounds, and a six-month program, for those who need to lose more than 20 pounds, according to Ferguson.

Curves is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year.
