to vice president
Cline Cellars and Jacuzzi Family Vineyards, family owned and operated wineries in the Carneros district of Sonoma Valley, have promoted Keith Morris of Hudson to vice president, national sales manager. As VP, Keith will support the wineries' strategic growth initiatives and oversee both wineries' networks of regional managers, brokers, and wholesale distributors from the Rocky Mountains to the East Coast.
In his nearly two decades in the wine industry, Keith has managed a wide variety of projects and teams, and brings a wealth of industry knowledge to his position. Keith joined Cline Cellars and Jacuzzi Family Vineyards in 2007 as regional manager for the Great Lakes territory, overseeing sales and implementing marketing initiatives in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Prior to joining Cline and Jacuzzi, Keith spent nearly a decade with Heidelberg Distributing Company in Ohio, where he served as general manager of the company's fine wine division. He also served as executive director of the Cincinnati International Wine Festival for nearly five years.
"Since joining Cline five years ago, Keith has been a proven leader and continuously contributed to our success in many ways. His promotion was an easy decision," said Larry Holman, executive vice president of sales and marketing for Cline Cellars and Jacuzzi Family Vineyards. "Our initiatives for 2013 and beyond will require an aggressive but surgical approach, and his experience and insight will provide guidance to our team and trade customers."
Two years ago Roger Gobler was promoted to Vice President of Trade Development, and he has made great strides in developing off-premise national accounts. Morris and Gobler will work in tandem to drive the business and offer insights into the rapidly-changing U.S. wine market, enabling the wineries to better serve customers and respond to the needs of the market.
"Keith is a true leader in the industry," said Fred Cline, founder and owner of Cline Cellars and Jacuzzi Family Vineyards. "Having him as vice president makes our team stronger and more capable of facing the challenges of the market."
Keith is a graduate of Furman University and the University of Cincinnati.
