BATAVIA, Ohio (AP) -- A 911 call recording captures an Ohio man telling a dispatcher in detail about arguing with his female roommate and choking her to death.
Twenty-one-year-old Phillip Hamm is being held on a murder charge in Clermont County, east of Cincinnati. The Cincinnati Enquirer (http://cin.ci/1jbxrZt ) reported details of the 911 call made Saturday morning about the death of 20-year-old Meagan Fambry.
A man identifying himself as Hamm says they argued Friday night at a party in Covington, Ky., and again when they got home. He says he doesn't know what happened to him but that he lost his mind, threw her down and choked her. A dispatcher questioned him and kept him on the line until police arrived.
Hamm is being held under $500,000 bond. No attorney was listed for him.
