Ohio police: 2nd victim dies in triple shooting

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) -- Police say a second person has died from a triple shooting last week in central Ohio.

Columbus police said Thursday that 21-year-old Javon Starghill died from being shot along with two other people on Jan. 9.

The shooting happened at a residence on the city's south side where arriving officers found the three people with gunshot wounds. One of them -- 26-year-old Jeremy Head -- was pronounced dead at the scene.

The third victim was a 17-year-old girl.

A police report said the shooting might have been drug-related. There have been no arrests.

Starghill was the city's fifth homicide victim of 2014.
