TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) -- Crews are working to restore heat and electricity to homes after sporadic outages around Ohio as temperatures remain around or below zero.

Utilities weren't reporting many widespread outages but said there were scattered problems around the state Tuesday.

Columbia Gas of Ohio and Dominion East Ohio Gas customers in a few places were getting little or no gas because of low pressure in their supply lines.

An outage west of Cleveland affected about 2,200 Columbus Gas customers. The utility said it was working to restore service and noted there was no issue with its overall supply.

Dominion East Ohio Gas said isolated issues in less than a dozen areas affected a handful of people.

Power companies across the state also reported a few outages.
