YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (AP) -- Authorities say a suspect in the slaying of a Youngstown mother has been arrested in Columbus.
The U.S. Marshal's Service Northern Ohio Fugitive Task Force said it arrested 39-year-old Larry Johnson in the victim's vehicle Wednesday night at a Columbus Wal-Mart.
The (Youngstown) Vindicator (http://bit.ly/1esbr9b ) reports that Johnson is accused of beating and stabbing 26-year-old Lashea Parker, whose body was found in her home on the west side of Youngstown on Tuesday. A neighbor who went to investigate why a child was outside without a coat in the yard found her.
Johnson is being held in Columbus and could be returned to Youngstown as early as Thursday. No attorney information for him was available.
