TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) -- An Ohio woman and her former boyfriend are due in court to face charges in the slaying of her daughter.

The pair will be in a Toledo courtroom Tuesday, a day after they were indicted on charges linking them to the death of 19-month-old Elaina Steinfurth.

The little girl's remains were found in September following a three-month search.

A grand jury on Monday indicted Elaina's mother, Angela Steinfurth, on a murder charge while the former boyfriend, Steven King II, was indicted on charges of aggravated murder, tampering with evidence, and abuse of a corpse.

Both have been in jail since the summer on charges of obstruction after the girl was reported missing in early June.

Police discovered her remains in September inside a garage that belongs to King's family.
