COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) -- Authorities in central Ohio have identified the three victims of a head-on traffic crash that left several others injured over the weekend.
The Franklin County sheriff's office says the two male passengers who were in the southbound car that crossed a center line and hit another vehicle were Sammy F. Stamper Sr. and Samuel S. Stamper. The 55-year-old father and his 29-year-old son, both of central Ohio, died at the scene of the crash near Harrisburg Saturday night.
The driver of that car was seriously hurt and is listed in serious condition at a local hospital.
Nine-year-old Elijah Love, who was riding in the back of the other car with his Hilliard family, later died at a hospital. Deputies say four more people in Love's family's vehicle suffered injuries and were taken to hospitals.
No charges have been filed. The crash remains under investigation.
