TOKYO (AP) -- Shunsuke Nakamura scored a late goal on Saturday as Yokohama F Marinos beat FC Tokyo 2-0 to move into first place in the J-League standings.
Nakamura's effort from the edge of the area in the final minute capped Yokohama's fifth victory from six games, after Shingo Hyodo opened the scoring midway through the first half.
Yokohama improved to 44 points, taking a one-point lead over defending champion Sanfrecce Hiroshima, which earned a point after a 1-1 draw at home to Nagoya Grampus, which equalized in the 92nd minute through Marcus Tulio Tanaka.
Urawa Reds beat Oita Trinita 4-3 while Omiya Ardija lost its sixth in a row, falling 2-1 at the hands of Sagan Tosu.
Cerezo Osaka thrashed Shimizu S-Pulse 4-1 while Kashima Antlers edged 10-man Albirex Niigata 1-0.
