QUETTA, Pakistan (AP) -- Officials say a bomb ripped through a railway car of a train in southwestern Pakistan, killing at least four people.
The police chief for the district of Sibi, where the blast went off, says 30 people were also wounded in Tuesday's attack. Ghulam Abbas Tarar says the explosion also ignited a fire on the train car that was put out at the station.
Pakistani television stations showed images of the burning car, with flames and smoking billowing out.
Federal Minister for Railways Saad Rafiq told Geo TV that the death toll could be as high as twelve.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
Sibi is in Baluchistan province, Pakistan's largest region. Pakistan has been battling Baluch separatists in the area as well as sectarian groups.
