PESHAWAR, Pakistan (AP) -- A police official says a car bomb hauled into a car repair shop in northwestern Pakistan has killed six people.
The official, Garanullah Khan, says Thursday's explosion in the northwestern city of Peshawar also wounded seven people, including two children.
Khan says the police are trying to trace the vehicle's owner.
He says it's unclear whether the repair shop was the real target or whether someone wanted to use the car bomb to attack another location and it went off prematurely.
Peshawar is the capital of Khyber Paktunkhwa province, which has witnessed scores of gun and bomb attacks in recent years.
